Addition to Tele Danmark's Executive Committee.

COPENHAGEN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 6, 1998--Tele Danmark A/S (NYSE:TLD), the Danish telecommunications services group, today announced Tele Danmark's Board of Directors decided to appoint Mr. Henning Vest as Senior Executive Vice President (International) effective no later than February 1, 1999. For the past four months Mr. John Anderson, Chief Operating Officer, has temporarily maintained this responsibility.

Since 1997, Mr. Vest, aged 51, has been Executive Vice President of Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG, part of the German Siemens conglomerate.

With the appointment of Mr. Vest, Tele Danmark's Executive Committee will consist of six members: Mr. Henning Dyremose (CEO), Mr. John Anderson (COO), Mr. Hans Munk Nielsen (CFO), Mr. Ralf Egede Andersen, Senior Executive Vice President (Domestic Markets), Mr. Gregers Mogensen, Senior Executive Vice President (Networks and Development), and Mr. Henning Vest, Senior Executive Vice President (International).

Tele Danmark ADRs are listed on the NYSE (each equal to one-half of one Tele Danmark share). Its ADRs and common shares also trade on the London SEAQ International system.
