Adding flavour to apricot treatts.

Treatt plc, the global flavour ingredients supplier, has added to its range of soft fruit Treattarome ingredients with the launch of Apricot Treattarome 9853. This 100% natural and FTNF (From the Named Food) clear distillate gives an authentic and well rounded apricot flavour to a variety of food and beverage applications. Wholly distilled from fresh apricots (Prunus armeniaca), Apricot Treattarome 9853 provides a full and distinct apricot flavour profile. It confers floral front notes with a strong benzaldehyde middle and an apricot skin finish, which balances the benzaldehyde. A high impact distillate, Apricot Treattarome 9853 is collected using specialized technology to ensure maximum flavour extraction. It can be used at varying dosage levels. At 0.2%, for example, it imparts a luscious, fruit character with a floral back end typical of apricot. Successful applications include beverages, alcoholic drinks, juices and juice drinks and dairy products. Water soluble and water white in appearance, Apricot Treattarome 9853 is particularly suitable for clear beverages. Treatt supplies its Treattarome FTNF flavour ingredients, which include cherry, peach, guava, passion fruit, strawberry and raspberry varieties, to customers around the world. Apricot Treattarome 9853 is the latest addition to Treatt's expanding portfolio of 100% natural distillates.
