Adding a Qatar string.


INTERNATIONAL law firm Eversheds has announced the opening of two new major international offices.

The group has been granted a licence to open a new office in Shanghai Shanghai (shăng`hī`, shäng`hī`), city (1994 est. pop. 12,980,000), in, but independent of, Jiangsu prov., E China, on the Huangpu (Whangpoo) River where it flows into the Chang (Yangtze) estuary. , China, and is the first law firm to have been granted an operating licence in Qatar Qatar or Katar (both: kŭ`tər, gŭ–, kətär`), officially State of Qatar, independent emirate (2005 est. pop. 863,000), c. .

The Shanghai site will be in the central business district of Puxi, while Eversheds' new office in Qatar will be based in the heart of the business district of Doha.
