Adders net third round trip to Yeltz; NON-LEAGUE.

Byline: By Colin Stoner

ATHERSTONE Town produced a second-half comeback to avenge their first league defeat of the season and send Leamington out of the GX Cup last night.

The Adders, who lost 3-0 to the Brakes last weekend, claimed a 2-1 win at Sheepy Road to earn a third-round trip to Halesowen Town.

Leamington had opened the scoring through Stuart Herlihy on 22 minutes and they should have doubled the lead just before halftime, only for Adders' keeper Richard Williams to save a Mykel Beckley penalty.

But the hosts levelled through Luke Barlone ten minutes after half-time and Jamie Hood bagged the winner nine minutes from time.
