Impressions on more than one hundred Web sites were sold in content networks and on individual sites, allowing advertisers the opportunity to make a variety of targeted media buys. , President of Adbot, says Adbot has launched a variety of programs to reflect the varying needs of advertisers on the Internet.

"Advertisers want a choice in how they pay to reach the right audience," says Frith. "We started hearing a lot from advertisers who wanted to buy more than just impressions." With this in mind, Adbot has recently established programs for advertisers who are interested in paying for advertising space based on click-throughs or commission sales.

The main factor contributing to the success of Adbot's auction model is the flexibility to deal quickly with changes in the market. The system is not based on fixed prices and rigid rate cards. Rather, the laws of supply and demand determine the pricing. Every ad impression offered in an Adbot auction has had a bid, although some of the bids have been below publishers' asking price. Adbot has been able to work with advertisers and Web site publishers to develop programs that create profitable results.

"The response to our concept has been incredible," says Frith. "Internet advertising as a market in itself has been looking for Looking for
