Adaytum Software Ships Adaytum Planning 2.2; New Upgrade of Flagship Budget-Management Solution Includes Numerous New Functions, Improved Data Importing, Better Reporting, and Easier Usage.


MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 1998--Adaytum Software, the leading supplier of budget management solutions, today announced it has begun shipments of Adaytum Planning 2.2, the industry's best business planning system See spreadsheet and financial planning system.  for integrated budgeting, planning, forecasting and management reporting.

The new release provides several new features designed to simplify the construction and use of sophisticated applications that help medium- and large-sized enterprises manage the complex processes of budgeting and planning. The new features include several new Built-In Functions, enhancements to data importing, improved reporting, and several improvements to the Add-In for Excel.

NEW FEATURES FoR VERSION 2.2

Adaytum Planning 2.2 includes a variety of new features that fall into four main categories:

-- Additional Built-In Functions - New Built-In Functions include

@Propor, which calculates the number of days between dates and

expresses it as a proportion of the number of days in the period.
