Adaytum Names Jerry Ellis Area Vice President for Southern Region; Veteran Sales Executive Brings Lengthy Track Record of Results and Enterprise Financial Applications Expertise to Adaytum.

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 16, 2002

Adaytum, the leading provider of enterprise planning and performance management solutions, today announced that it has named Jerry Ellis its area vice president for the southern region. In this capacity, Ellis will be responsible for sales and service delivery to all Adaytum accounts in the Gulf Atlantic area.

Ellis's arrival signals the continued growth and maturation of the company's customer-facing operations. The appointment is the latest addition to Adaytum's management team as the company extends its market momentum in the emerging category for enterprise planning and performance solutions.

The company has recently added several major new customers (see "Wave of New Customers and Double-Digit Revenue Growth Fuels Adaytum's Momentum and Leadership," Aug. 22, 2002) and expanded existing implementations of its acclaimed Adaytum e.Planning solution. Ellis will report to Tim Bradley, executive vice president of sales operations for Adaytum.

Earlier, Ellis held a similar position with Clarify, a $200 million CRM company, managing a 100-person team and securing account relationships with Federal Express, H&R Block, American Express, and many others.

Previously, Ellis held senior sales positions with other enterprise software leaders such as Oracle, Platinum Software (now Epicor), SQL Financials Int'l. (now Clarus), and Dun & Bradstreet Software (now GEAC).
