Adaytum Expands Manpower's Enterprise Business Planning With Adaytum e.Planning.

Adaytum(R), the leading provider of enterprise business planning (EBP) solutions, today announced that Manpower Inc. (NYSE: MAN), the global staffing and workforce management firm, has further expanded its EBP implementation with 500 additional seats of Adaytum(R) e.Planning, Adaytum's acclaimed EBP solution.

The staffing industry leader plans to expand its EBP implementation to encompass business-plan contributions from employees at individual local offices, providing greater granularity, accuracy, and speed. The new license brings the total number of Adaytum e.Planning users at Manpower to more than 1,000 in the U.S. and U.K.

Manpower sought a way to effectively consolidate its budgeting process that involves more than 900 contributors and saw Adaytum e.Planning as a superior replacement for the system it previously used to manage financial consolidations and reporting. Collecting and organizing massive amounts of data from more than 700 company-owned branches, however, posed a challenge to Manpower's finance group.

According to Michael Steinmetz, vice president of North American Finance at Manpower, Adaytum has brought several advantages to the company's planning processes. "Planning has traditionally been a difficult, time-intensive process," he said.
