THE FOLLOWING NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS offer adaptive sports and recreational activities and/or information on these topics for people of many abilities. In addition to providing a variety of opportunities for fun and social interaction, some of the listed organizations also offer support groups. Most have local chapters, or they can provide referrals to other local organizations which offer similar activities.
