Adaptec and Intel collaborate.


Adaptec, Inc. have announced that they have extended their existing relationship with Intel Corporation to deliver advanced hardware and software RAID products. As part of the new collaboration, which includes a licensing agreement, the two companies will join forces in delivering RAID products to major OEM customers and intend to work together on the development, marketing, support, and innovation of other new RAID solutions. The collaboration combines the powerful and flexible Intel IOP IOP
