, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 13, 1997--Adaptive Information Systems Inc. will unveil a new and enhanced AdaptFile/VisiFLOW software suite at the 1997 AIIM (Association for Information and Image Management International, Silver Spring, MD, www.aiim.org) A membership organization founded in 1943 devoted to creating industry standards and disseminating information about the document management industry.  Show that represents the first document management solution to feature an integrated suite of document imaging, document management, workflow management, COLD and workflow modeling application products under a common user interface.

The new program also provides for the rapid development and deployment of workflow applications across the Internet or corporate intranets from workstations or local servers, enabling them to be accessible to anyone with a Web browser The program that serves as your front end to the Web on the Internet. In order to view a site, you type its address (URL) into the browser's Location field; for example, www.computerlanguage.com, and the home page of that site is downloaded to you. .

The AdaptFile/VisiFLOW Suite V3.0 is the first in a series of product suites designed to meet exploding corporate demand for cost-effective, fully integrated document management solutions at the enterprise level. From a single point of access, users will be able to process compound documents using multiple sources of information and documentation.

In addition, organizations will be able to benefit from the speed with which they can move from simple prototype to full application before deployment across an enterprise network, thereby saving valuable time and money in development resources.

In its production version, the AdaptFile/VisiFLOW Suite will permit enterprises to implement and maintain a single suite of products with common user interface and support requirements. Departments can easily build, test and simulate applications before moving them in their entirety to a larger network environment supporting thousands of seats.
