Agency Wins Most Awards at the 2007 Connecticut Advertising Club Awards Show

AVON, Conn. -- The Advertising Club of Connecticut awarded Adams & Knight with Best of Show--its top award--for the television commercial series it created for the Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut. The agency was also the most awarded by the Ad Club, earning 30 total awards spanning nearly every advertising category.

Described by judges as, "the clear cut winner for this year's show," Adams & Knight's television commercials humorously encouraged Connecticut residents to get involved in the debate about making health care affordable and accessible for everyone. The series drove Connecticut residents to a dedicated Web site http://www.healthcare4every1.org where they could learn more about the issue and contact politicians with their viewpoints about the issue.

Of the more than 130 awards given out in 50 categories at the annual awards show, Adams & Knight received 30, the most awarded to a single agency. The agency received eight gold, 16 silver and eight bronzes.

"To win Best of Show is certainly an honor," said Jill Adams, president of Adams & Knight. "The real win for us, however, is seeing so many of our clients get results across so many different types of communication vehicles."

Adams & Knight's award-winning work for its financial, health care, education and non-profit clients spanned the full spectrum of advertising categories including integrated campaigns, radio, interactive, print, point of purchase, collateral, event marketing, and direct mail.

The Ad Club's Best of Show honor comes on the heels of the agency being honored with the Connecticut Chapter of the American Marketing Association's Best of Show award for the third consecutive year. Adams & Knight was previously awarded Best of Show from the Ad Club in 2004.
