DEREK ADAMS Derek Adams (born June 25, 1975 in Aberdeen) is a Scottish footballer who is currently player-caretaker manager at Ross County.

Adams has previously played for Aberdeen, Motherwell, Burnley and Ayr United.
 hailed his County troops after they dumped Montrose to cruise in to the next round.

Michael Gardyne 'Michael Gardyne' (born January 23 1986 in Dundee) is a Scottish football player. He currently plays as a striker for Scottish Football League club Greenock Morton.  led the way with a double as the Staggies found their shooting boots after the break.

Adams said: "We were in control from start to finish.

"We passed well and created plenty of chances. It was a professional and clinical display from my players."

Steven Craig grabbed the opener just before the interval when he got a touch on a ball across the box.

Gardyne made it 2-0 in 56 minutes with a fine half-volley before Scott Morrison put the game out of sight, playing a slick one-two with Paul Lawson before crashing home.

Gardyne met a Craig cut-back on the 18-yard line to hammer No.4 past Steven Coutts.

John Stewart headed home a Brittain corner to wrap up the scoring 11 minutes from time.

Montrose manager Steven Tweed said: "If we had made it to half-time without conceding a goal it would have been a different story."
