Adam McDonough Named President and CEO of Lockton Insurance Brokers San Francisco.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Lockton Insurance Brokers, the nation's largest independently owned insurance brokerage firm, has appointed Adam McDonough to the post of President and Chief Executive Officer of its San Francisco office.

Mr. McDonough has worked in the insurance industry for more than 18 years, including 12 years in the Bay Area -- five years as a Senior Vice President with a national insurance brokerage firm where he was responsible for the development and execution of risk management programs and six years as a Vice President with another national insurance brokerage firm in the financial products group. For the past two years, he has played a key role as Executive Vice President at Lockton, developing the company's Property, Casualty and Executive Risk Practices.

In his new position, Mr. McDonough will oversee Lockton's growing operations in San Francisco as well as its satellite office in San Jose.

Commenting on his appointment, Russ Sands, who continues as Board Chairman of Lockton San Francisco, said, "Adam's extensive experience in the insurance industry, his leadership skills and his ability to serve clients at the highest level will set an example for our west coast operations. I am proud to have him lead our organization into the next phase of growth in the San Francisco Bay Area."

Mr. McDonough earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fordham University and a Masters in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He resides in San Francisco, California.
