The displays are either wall-mounted or in free-standing kiosks and are oriented in "portrait" (vertical) format so that they appear to be four-foot high, bright, color posters with eye-catching animation and full-motion video Video transmission that changes the image 30 frames per second (30 fps). Motion pictures are run at 24 fps, which is the minimum frequency required to eliminate the perception of moving frames and make the images appear visually fluid to the eye. . Each advertisement is typically 15 seconds long and appears in a cycle of 10 to 12 advertisements. Theater patrons thus see all the advertising messages at least once as they enter the theater, buy tickets, buy concessions, and go to the movie of their choice.
