 services, is pleased to announce that Srdjan Kovacevic, Ph.D., has joined the Company in the newly created Chief Process Architect role, a senior position that will contribute to the direction that the already vigilant process and solutions-oriented Company is taking in its plans for long-term strategic technical planning.

Dr. Kovacevic, an experienced systems architect and hands-on software developer, brings more than fifteen years of both Fortune 500 and startup experience combining technical and management expertise and providing technical leadership solutions as a strategic thinker to his role. As Chief Process Architect, he will be responsible for formulating, researching and directing the successful implementation of appropriate breakthrough technical products and enhancements, internally and externally, at Acusis.

Prior to Acusis, Dr. Kovacevic held the key technical roles at SCS Lab, ICARIAN and AONIX, where he drove technology strategy and led advanced research and development. Dr. Kovacevic was elected to and served on the Board of Directors of HR-XML HR-XML Human Resources eXtensible Markup Language  Consortium. His background includes years on the technical staff at US WEST Advanced Technologies, visiting researcher at Georgia Tech and the distinction of being a Fulbright Scholar. Dr. Kovacevic received his Ph.D. in Computer Science with minors in Artificial Intelligence and Human Factors from George Washington University George Washington University, at Washington, D.C.; coeducational; chartered 1821 as Columbian College (one of the first nonsectarian colleges), opened 1822, became a university in 1873, renamed 1904.  in Washington, D.C.
