Acument(TM) Global Technologies Appoints Janice E. Stipp As Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.


TROY, Mich. -- Acument Global Technologies, Inc. today announced the appointment of Janice E. Stipp as the company's Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Effective February 19, 2007, Stipp will replace current Acument Chief Financial Officer Jon Samuelson, who is leaving the company to pursue other professional opportunities.

Samuelson had been CFO for the company since February 2004. Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of Financial Operations for Textron Inc., as Executive Vice President and CFO for Textron's Industrial Components segment, and Vice President and Controller for Textron Automotive Company. Jon's Finance career spans more than 20 years, and includes progressively responsible positions with AlliedSignal, Tenneco Automotive and Federal-Mogul.

As Acument CFO, Stipp will be responsible for leading the company's worldwide Finance function, including financial planning Financial planning

Evaluating the investing and financing options available to a firm. Planning includes attempting to make optimal decisions, projecting the consequences of these decisions for the firm in the form of a financial plan, and then comparing future performance against
