In 2006, over 2.1 million prisoners were held in federal or state prisons or in local jails. A majority of state inmates (53 percent) and almost half of federal inmates (45 percent) were abusing or were dependent on drugs in the year before their admission to prison. Lessening the costs involved in the drug testing of this prison population, especially those in drug treatment programs, is the goal of including ClearCheck[TM] as an adjunct to the current urine testing program

The workshop, to be held in St. Louis (June 6th), will present data derived from the use of ClearCheck[TM] over a two-year period in a prison setting documenting financial and personnel time savings.
