), the world leader in Enterprise Reporting With the dramatic expansion of information technology, and the desire for increased competitiveness in corporations, there has been an increase in the use of computing power to produce unified reports which join different views of the enterprise in one place.  Applications, today announced that its Japanese subsidiary has entered into an agreement with Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF See Windows Workflow Foundation. ) Japan.

The WWF is involved in environmental conservation activities around the world, and is funded by donations and membership fees from its individual and corporate members, and by income from promotional and licensing programs. Actuate fully endorses the objectives and activities of the WWF Japan and has entered into a promotion agreement with WWF Japan in support of these activities. With this agreement, Actuate Japan will have the right to display the WWF's Panda logo on Actuate 8 advertising and promotional materials until November 18 of this year.

In the spring of 2003, WWF Japan embarked on the development of a new supporter information management system. The objective of the system is to manage its relationships with donors and supporters more effectively, thereby increasing supporter satisfaction. Attracting new supporters, and increasing supporter satisfaction are fundamental to the success of WWF. By providing services in a consistent and timely manner and engaging in a wide range of supporter-oriented activities, including sending out newsletters and magazines, conducting mail order sales, and forming strategic alliances with organizations and businesses, WWF Japan has mobilized its supporters to strengthen its economic foundations and expanded its range of activities.

WWF Japan augmented its support information management system by integrating Actuate into it in 2004. Actuate was chosen to integrate and manage WWF Japan's contact database and perform detailed data analysis and reporting. WWF Japan plans to use Actuate as a base to continually enhance its supporter information management system by increasing efficiency and improving services to supporters to maximize donations.
