Actuate iServer Components for BEA WebLogic Workshop provides a suite of three JSP custom tags that can be incorporated into Web applications:

-- File List: The File List tag displays the contents of a

specified folder in the Actuate Encyclopedia. The tag displays

hyperlinks for each of the files in the folder, allowing the

end-user to view cached reports and run new reports of their

own.

-- Reportlet: The Reportlet tag displays a graph, table, or other

key performance indicator from a specified report. The

Reportlet content is displayed in-line with the rest of the

content generated by the web application. This allows

structured and unstructured content to be displayed seamlessly

side-by-side in the same web page.

-- Viewer: The Viewer tag displays a specified report in a

full-featured 100% DHTML viewer embedded in the web page. The

Viewer provides full capabilities to navigate between the

pages of the report. The user can also display a linked table

of contents and use SmartSearch to intelligently select report

fields to search for specific values. The user can also print

the report and download it to PDF, Excel or RTF formats.

In addition to the tags themselves, Actuate iServer Components for BEA WebLogic Workshop include a sample web application that illustrates the use of the tags. Workshop developers can use this sample application without having to install the Actuate iServer.
