Actuate Corporation (Nasdaq:ACTU), the Information Delivery market leader, today announced that Mexico-based Cadence has agreed to resell Actuate's flagship product, e.Reporting Suite 5. According to the terms of the agreement, Cadence will resell the Actuate Information Delivery solution to Mexico's largest corporations including retail, manufacturing firms and financial services  companies.

Actuate's selection of Cadence reflects a two-pronged corporate strategy for expanding business beyond North America. The Actuate approach is to identify those regions where IT spending pattens match the growth curve seen in the U.S. in the late 1990's, and to partner with local distributors and high-profile OEMs to generate relationships and spark new business in these foreign territories. As adoption of the company's Information Delivery technology accelerates in the U.S., European and Asia-Pacific markets, Actuate is extending its focus to include countries in Latin America, where corporations are aggressively adopting the latest Internet technologies to improve business processes.
