Advancing Student Achievement is a grant program bringing educators and community volunteer actuaries together to improve student mathematics achievement in grades K-12.

By introducing students to how math skills are used in the workplace and everyday life, volunteer math mentors bring math concepts to life as they bridge the gap between classroom and workplace math in a program developed by the funded schools to meet their particular needs.
