Actor lands Mr Motivator role.


FORMER TV doctor Nicholas Bailey sent the pulses racing when he visited a Birmingham secondary school to give a motivational talk to pupils.

The Birmingham-born actor, whose most famous role was as Dr Anthony Trueman in popular BBC soap EastEnders, was invited to Washwood Heath Technology College Washwood Heath Technology College is a sixth form college located in the Washwood Heath ward of Birmingham, United Kingdom[1]. Originally known as Washwood Heath Comprehensive School, it opened in September 1967.  in Burney Lane, Stechford, to encourage pupils to make the most of their lives.

The opportunity was open to Washwood Heath pupils who have consistently achieved a good standard of behaviour, attendance and academic progress at the school.

Nicholas, who celebrates his 38th birthday tomorrow, has previously appeared as Lee Middleton in episodes of Coronation Street and also BBC hospital drama Casualty.

 School, Stourbridge, and St Edmund Campion Catholic School St Edmund Campion Catholic School (previously St Agnes' Girls School, located on the corner of Holly Lane and Sutton New Road, Erdington, Birmingham opened in September 1975.

When the school was re-named, the headmaster was Mr Loughran.
, Erdington, was also a contestant on ITV's Soapstar Superstar in January 2006.

A spokesman for Washwood Heath Technology College said: "Everything went very well.

"Nicholas was here throughout the whole day and spoke to about five different groups of pupils."
