Actor Michael Keaton, Kodak, Disney and Sony to cosponsor charity golf tournament to help feed hungry kids in Los Angeles.


Angeles Inc. Friday announced that actor Michael Keaton Michael John Douglas (born September 5, 1951), better known by the stage name Michael Keaton, is an American actor, perhaps best known for his early comedic roles in films such as Night Shift, Beetlejuice , Disney, Kodak and Sony Corp. are sponsoring holes in the charity's first annual golf tournament to be held Nov. 2 at the Industry Hills Sheraton.

Kid Care Los Angeles prepares and delivers more than 6,500 nutritious "meals on wheels n. 1. A program that delivers hot meals to persons, such as the elderly or disabled, who are confined to their homes and unable to cook for themselves; also, the meals thus delivered. Such programs are usually conducted by governmental or charitable organizations. " each week to preschool children in their own neighborhoods. The program has a waiting list, and the immediate goal is to increase the number of children served to 1,000 per day within the next six months.

, the charity's first corporate sponsor, said: "Kid Care Los Angeles is the first meals-on-wheels program for children in California. There are a lot of hungry little kids in Los Angeles, and we are committed to finding them and feeding them ... but we need the help of the business and professional communities to do it."

There are still corporate sponsorships available for the tournament and spots for more golfers, up to a maximum of 144. The entry fee of $150 includes 18 holes of golf, box lunch, golf cart, dinner and a raffle. All proceeds will benefit hungry children in Los Angeles.
