Actix Expands Its Lead in Automated Wireless Network Optimization and Establishes a Strong Presence in Germany with the Acquisition of Radioplan GmbH.

LONDON -- Actix, the global leader in wireless network performance engineering solutions, has acquired Radioplan GmbH, a Dresden based provider of automated network optimization software with customers in Europe, USA and Asia. The combined products and services of Radioplan and Actix will provide mobile operators and their network equipment vendors with a comprehensive solution for performance optimization that will enable significant cost reduction in the deployment and operation of today's 3G networks.
