ACTIVITY

Now that you have snacks and a warm, dry place to sleep, it's time to plan the day's activities. Here's one suggestion.

"ABC" HIKE

This hike is always fun and can be done anywhere. So put on some comfortable shoes and grab a pencil and a pad of paper.

1. Write down all the letters of the alphabet.

2. Use your senses to help you match up a sight, sound, smell, or touch for each letter. Here are some examples: "A" can be for an ant you see, "B" can be for the breeze you feel, and "C" can be the cawing of a crow you hear.

3. Your hike is over when you get to "Z" (that can be a tough one!)
