Activities of 3rd International Conference for Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine concluded.Oct 02, 2009 Damascus, (SANA) -- The 3rd International Conference on Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine concluded its activities on Friday.The conference was held by the Higher Education Ministry in cooperation with French Radiologists Association, Syrian Doctors Syndicate and the Francophone University group at al-Assad University Hospital in Damascus.Activities of the conference included a number of lectures and workshops on Magnetic Resonance magnetic resonance, in physics and chemistry, phenomenon produced by simultaneously applying a steady magnetic field and electromagnetic radiation (usually radio waves) to a sample of atoms and then adjusting the frequency of the radiation and the strength of the , diagnosis of Nephroblastoma neph·ro·blas·to·ma n. It may reach an enormous size, even distending the abdomen, e.g. in pigs. and other diseases.Aa In a statement to SANA, Chairman of the Conference Dr. Yasser Safi AliAapointed out that the conference succeeded because of the high scientific quality of lecturers.The Honorary Chairman of the Conference, Dr. Michel Bleri said, "The 21st century is witnessing developments in preventive medicine preventive medicine, branch of medicine dealing with the prevention of disease and the maintenance of good health practices. Until recently preventive medicine was largely the domain of the U.S. and means of early diagnosis, so we have to train doctors to improve their experience and capabilities in this field."The conference lasted for three days and more than 350 doctors from 11 Arab and foreign countries participated in it.
