Activist calls for preservation of values.

Manama A prominent social activist has called for popular, parliamentary and official action to combat negative phenomena impacting Kuwaiti society.

"The Kuwaiti society has a set of values and ethics and every civilised society must hold on to its values and ethics seen as the foundations for stability and unity. When a society loses its values, it loses a part of its existence," Shaikha Fareeha Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, president of the Supreme Committee for the Ideal Mother Award, was quoted as saying by Kuwait News Agency yesterday.
