ActiveSymbols Names Vice President of Product Development; Andrew Shields Combines Technical Savvy, Creative Vision to Productize and Evangelize ActiveSymbols Visual Search Platform.


BELLEVUE, Wash. -- ActiveSymbols Inc., a Logicalis Company, today announced the appointment of Andrew Shields as Vice President of Product Development. In his new role, Shields will be responsible for introducing new products and services on the ActiveSymbols platform. Part technologist, part evangelist, Shields is a master of the art and science of "product experiences" that turns passive observers into active participants.

"Andrew brings the perfect combination of technical skills and creative imagination to his role at ActiveSymbols," says ActiveSymbols President Jeff Reed.
