:ATVE), a company that operates a group of subsidiaries and divisions in the US and Canada that offer a Smart Enterprise Suite of products, announced today the release of V4.1 of ActiveLink, its XML/JAVA-based data conversion and application integration engine with greatly enhanced application integration, data conversion and real time monitoring capabilities.

ActiveLink V4.1 delivers real time transaction monitoring, data base transaction logging and new plug-ins to expand data conversion and application integration options.

ActiveLink V4.0 already had complete healthcare data integration and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996, Public Law 104-191) Also known as the "Kennedy-Kassebaum Act," this U.S. law protects employees' health insurance coverage when they change or lose their jobs (Title I) and provides standards for patient health,  compliance and competed directly with data integration engines such as: SeeBeyond, Quovadx, Microsoft and Sybase. The latest set of enhancements now allow ActiveLink V4.1 to compete in the corporate sector as both a data migration product as well as an application integration and enhancement product.
