Active Athlete Media Hires Thelo Aiken, Director of Business Development.


SAN FRANCISCO San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  -- Active Athlete Media, an online media company that grants advertisers unduplicated reach to consumers engaged in lifestyle sports, has hired Thelo Aiken as Director of Business Development. Aiken will utilize his extensive media and sports background to establish strategic partnerships with publishing partners whose Web properties will expand Active Athlete's reach and vertical sports content. Most recently, Aiken was Director of Sales for NetTraction.com, a full service online advertising agency specializing in performance-based media buying. In this position, he helped grow new sale monthly revenues by nearly 800 percent and the recurring base of revenue by more than 1,000 percent.

Aiken also has served as VP of Sales and Marketing for Sunrise Composites Ltd., an international OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  golf shaft manufacturer in Taiwan, where his accomplishments included a pivotal role in the overall re-alignment of their company/brand image and sales and marketing strategies which resulted in further market recognition and bolstering of the company's reputation within the industry.
