Actional(TM) Corporation, the leading provider of Control Broker integration solutions for e-Business, today announced that its adapters will be used to extend the integration capabilities of Oracle9i Application Server (Oracle9iAS) as part of a licensing agreement signed by the two companies.

The adapters are based on Actional's high-performance Control Broker Integration Engine, and will provide the robust connectivity that Oracle9i Application Server uses to access legacy and packaged applications like Siebel, PeopleSoft and CICS (Customer Information Control System) A TP monitor from IBM that was originally developed to provide transaction processing for IBM mainframes.
