ActionFax offers companies a 50% reduction in long distance fax rates.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- March 21, 1995--ActionFax International, Inc., a leading provider of enhanced fax services since 1987, announces its entry into the fax transmission carrier market. With a worldwide network of fax nodes, ActionFax is able to reduce a company's long distance fax transmission cost by an estimated 50 percent or more.

The ActionFax SureSave(TM) program is initiated by the simple installation of an ActionFax DNA DNA: see nucleic acid.

"Businesses of all sizes need to control spiraling fax transmission costs," said Mike Sheriff, president and chief executive officer of ActionFax. "The average corporate fax machine spends $7,000 in long distance charges per year.

"Recent studies indicate that 36 percent of telephone costs are fax- related," Sheriff continued. "In Fortune 500 companies, this amounts to between $5.4 and $7.2 million annually for these companies. Overall, it is estimated that U.S. companies will spend a total of $15 billion in fax transmission costs per year."

The ActionFax Network is composed of distributed fax nodes located in major cities throughout the USA and centralized systems In telecommunications, a centralized system is one in which most communications are routed through one or more major central hubs.
