Action starts again at castle.


ADRENALINE-fuelled medieval drama is back at Warwick Castle Warwick Castle (grid reference SP284648), overlooking the River Avon, lies in the town of Warwick of the English county of Warwickshire. It is traditionally associated with the earldom of Warwick, one of the oldest in England.  next month for the first joust joust: see tournament.  of the season.

Guests will be transported back to the castle's medieval heyday as knights clash swords in the arena over the May Bank Holiday.

Youngsters will have the chance to join Warwick Castle army and try on authentic medieval armour.

There will be a knights' combat demonstration and a spectacular birds of prey show along with a cast of colourful characters, including the deadly bowman, jailer and castle dragon.

The Ghost Tower will also be alive with spooky action telling the story of Sir Fulke Greville's murder.

It runs from May 28 to June 5 with extra entertainment over the bank holiday weekend.

Tickets can be booked on 0870 442 2375 or at www.warwick-castle.co.uk. Adult tickets are from pounds 12.95, children from pounds 7.95 (four to 16 inclusive) and a family ticket (two adults/two children) is from pounds 34.

Entry to Warwick Ghosts Alive is an additional pounds 2.50.
