Action Products Reports Record Sales For The Two-Month Period Ending February.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Action Products International, Inc. (NASDAQ:APII), a leading toy designer and manufacturer of educational and positive, non-violent branded toys for pre-school children through pre-teens, today announced that the company had two-month sales ending February 2005 of $1,137,595 vs. $953,751 in 2004. This was an increase of 19.28%. February sales were $502,854 in 2005 vs. $548,605. Sales had a slight dip in February because of the timing of the Toy Fair late in the month. The processing of the new orders and the operation of the warehouse just could not get all of the orders out in a short period of time. However, as forecasted, March should be a very good month because of the Toy Fair orders and the fact that the company is receiving 15 large 40' containers from China. Some of the Toy Fair orders had requested a March shipment, as some backordered items would become available. Action Products is reviewing warehouse procedures and equipment and is expected to upgrade that operation by the end of May.

The incoming containers include 7 new products, which is part of the 50 new products expected this year. Five of the incoming new products are for Curiosity Kits(R) including "cool things clothes tree, forest fairies woodland home, fairy picnic, magic tie dye string t-shirt, and air dry clay refills" and two are for the Play and Store brands namely "turtles bitty bucket and N. American animal bitty buckets."

In summary, the company is expecting to report record sales in the first quarter against 2004 as well as an improved bottom line.
