Action Engine(R) Corporation (www.actionengine.com), the leading provider of Advanced Data Services (ADS) solutions for smart phones and devices, announced today the launch of Action Grid(TM) -- the newest product in the company's award-winning portfolio of Advanced Data Services solutions.

Action Engine leads the industry as the first company to deliver a feature-rich, carrier-grade ADS software solution that enables operators to develop and deploy a differentiated and custom-branded suite of data services that functions across multiple device types and mobile operating systems (OS). Action Grid specifically enables operators to modify the 'mobile desktop' and customize a branded user experience layer (EUL) to simplify the way end-users discover, understand and use data services and applications.

Research by leading industry analysts confirms that poor user experience is the root cause for challenges associated with the uptake of services built on WAP and is a key consideration for mobile subscribers when selecting a wireless operator's network and service offerings.
