Youngsters from 16 schools, part of Creative Partnerships North and South Tyneside South Tyneside is a metropolitan borough in Tyne and Wear in North East England. It is bordered by four other boroughs - Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead to the west, Sunderland in the south, and North Tyneside to the north. , are in an ambitious project culminating in a movie, to be screened later this year. "Around 35 children will be in the cast but many more will be involved in all aspects of the production, with 500 having already been involved in the initial workshops" said Charlotte Johnson, of Creative Partnerships. The project will give the young people a real taste of what it's like to work in the world of films.
