Business Editors, High Tech Writers

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 13, 2000

Actify's 3D View(TM) adds native viewing support for Autodesk(R) Inventor. 3DView enables designers and non-designers alike to exchange native CAD models. Non-CAD professionals can use 3D View to View, Measure, and Markup (text) markup - In computerised document preparation, a method of adding information to the text indicating the logical components of a document, or instructions for layout of the text on the page or other information which can be interpreted by some automatic system.  (VMM (1) (Virtual Machine Monitor) The layer of software that virtualizes a computer into multiple virtual machine environments. Sharing Inventor models via the web or email is easy, bringing suppliers, customers, managers, sales, marketing, and other engineers into the collaborative design process.

"We have received numerous requests for Inventor support over the past few months, a sign that Inventor is quickly becoming an Industry standard" said Mark Gisi, Actify's President. "This is not surprising when you consider Autodesk's track record with both AutoCAD and Mechanical Desktop."
