Three Leaders with Deep Experience Join Senior Management

Acterna announces today that it has rounded out its senior leadership team with the addition of three executives - Dave Bent, CIO and vice president, enterprise processes and IT; Doug Halbert, senior vice president, operations and quality; and Doug LeGrande, senior vice president, sales.

Each leader brings extensive international business acumen to the communications test and management company formed by the merger of TTC and Wavetek Wandel Goltermann (WWG), May 23, 2000.

Dave Bent joined Acterna to develop information technology systems around the world to support the company's processes and growth. Bent was chief information officer for Visteon Automotive Systems, a Ford Motor Company. He led initiatives in e-commerce and implemented the enterprise resource planning tool, SAP, worldwide. Bent held several executive positions in IT with Visteon prior. In 1999, he was named CIO of the Year by Information Week magazine.

Doug Halbert is in charge of Acterna's global operations, quality and order processing. His experience comes through his career with Agilent and Hewlett Packard from 1979 to 2000. His most recent position for Agilent was as vice president and general manager for worldwide manufacturing. Prior to this, Halbert held several general manager roles in manufacturing for Hewlett Packard's Test and Measurement Group, including management of the Korea instrument operation.

Doug LeGrande joins Acterna from a 30-year career in sales, service, marketing, distribution and general management to lead worldwide sales. He served as vice president and general manager for IBM's Personal Systems Group for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to this, LeGrande held a variety of senior level, global positions with IBM and Lexmark International.
