Acterna today appointed two new members to its board of directors, increasing the number of directors to seven. Hank Bonde, an IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. Bonde, currently chief executive of Centerpost Corporation, the leading provider of multi-channel outbound communications solutions, will serve as chairman of Acterna's board of directors. He brings more than 30 years of diversified global experience in the information technology and telecommunications industries gained from senior management roles with companies such as IBM, BellSouth Cellular and JD Edwards. From 2001 to 2002, he served as chief operating officer of JD Edwards, a leading provider of enterprise software with nearly $1 billion in revenue and 5,000 employees, where he delivered exceptional financial performance in an increasingly challenging market environment.

Bonde's experience also includes a nine-year career (1989-1998) with BellSouth Cellular. His experience with BellSouth Cellular included serving from 1995 to 1998 as president and general manager of Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  Cellular Telephone Company, at the time the largest local cellular phone company in the U.S., with more than $900 million in revenue, 2,400 employees and one million customers. During this time, he increased net income by 42 percent, achieved revenue growth of 35 percent and reduced customer churn by 35 percent.

From 1971 to 1988, Bonde served in a number of senior sales, marketing and business development management positions with IBM's Information System group, including significant experience in the Asia-Pacific region.

Steven F. Mayer, Managing Director, Cerberus Capital Management

Steven Mayer is a managing director of Cerberus Capital Management, a private investment firm with about $10 billion of capital under management.
