Actelis Networks to Showcase Solutions for Mobile Backhaul and Remote DSLAM Backhaul with Carrier Ethernet over Copper Access Equipment, Including the ML 640 and XR239 EFM Repeater, at NXTcomm 2007.


FREMONT, Calif. -- At NXTcomm 2007 in Booth 6042, Actelis Networks[R], the leading global supplier of Carrier Ethernet over Copper[TM] solutions, will showcase its award-winning line of Carrier Ethernet over Copper[TM] solutions. Led by Mehmet Balos, president of worldwide marketing, sales and services, and Craig Easley, associate vice president of marketing, Actelis executives will be onsite to meet with show attendees, customers, partners, the media and industry analysts to discuss the company's latest solutions for mobile backhaul and remote DSLAM (DSL Access Multiplexor) A central office (CO) device for ADSL service that intermixes voice traffic and DSL traffic onto a customer's DSL line. Also on display will be the company's new ML 640 Intelligent Ethernet Access Edge Switch and the XR239 EFM (Ethernet in the First Mile) Using Ethernet to provide connectivity from the customer to the carrier. On June 19, starting at 1:15 p.m. CST, Actelis' Craig Easley will moderate a Metro Ethernet Forum The Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) was founded in 2002. It is a non-profit international industry consortium, dedicated to worldwide adoption of Carrier Ethernet networks and services.  Session titled "Carrier Ethernet Access: Alternatives for Extending Ethernet Services."
