Acta Wireless Names Mark Ewen Venture Partner; Successful Executive Further Diversifies Acta Wireless Team.

, a leading investment and advisory firm in the wireless sector, today announced that Mark Ewen has joined the firm as a Venture Partner. Mr Ewen will establish the firm's San Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay.  operations and concentrate on emerging opportunities in areas such as mobile advertising and search, user generated content and direct-to-consumer mobile marketing.

Ewen brings more than fifteen years of experience in global technology ventures, and has been instrumental in helping two successful wireless data ventures during their early stages. Most recently, Ewen served as senior vice president of global sales for Motricity, where he closed strategic agreements with wireless carriers worldwide.

Prior to joining Motricity, Ewen spent almost seven years at Openwave Systems, where he served in multiple capacities, including area sales vice president.
