ACT Networks (Nasdaq:ANET) today announced an agreement with networking distributor and channel services provider LAN (Local Area Network) A communications network that serves users within a confined geographical area. ACT's relationship with LAN Systems comes as a result of LAN Systems', Cisco's largest second tier distributor in Australia, requirement for a stronger market entry into the convergent Voice over Packet market. "With the experience and success of ACT Networks, we feel we can now deliver a proven and working technology to our resellers today," said Nick Verykios, Chief Marketing Officer at LAN Systems.
