Acsys, Inc. Names Daniel Sheehan Chief Information Officer.

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 1999--Acsys, Inc. (Nasdaq NM:ACSY), a leading provider of specialty professional staffing services, announced that Daniel J. Sheehan has been named Chief Information Officer. In his new role, Mr. Sheehan will be responsible for managing the technology planning, implementation, and integration for more than 40 Acsys offices nationwide. Mr. Sheehan brings more than 16 years of experience in computer systems technology to Acsys, Inc.

Mr. Sheehan joined Acsys, Inc. in 1998 as the SAP(tm) Program Director for its SAP Consulting Practice, which is based within Acsys Information Technology (IT), the IT contract and consulting division of Acsys. Acsys IT's SAP Consulting Practice includes more than 100 SAP consultants in the United States, and focuses on SAP HR, SAP Business Information Warehouse, and SAP Financial and Logistics implementation.

Mr. Sheehan will continue to work with Acsys IT's SAP Consulting Practice during his transition to the CIO position.

Prior to joining Acsys, Mr. Sheehan was employed with The Coca-Cola Company, where he served as Senior Manager, SAP(tm) Application Development, and led the team for the company's worldwide SAP(tm) R/3 design and implementation project. Before joining the Coca-Cola Company, he served as Senior Information Resource Manager for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation in Atlanta. -

Mr. Sheehan is a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society, and graduated from Suffolk University, Boston, Massachusetts with a B.S.B.A. degree in Computer Information Systems. He also holds a M.B.A. degree from Salem State College, in Salem, Massachusetts.

Mr. Sheehan is a native of Boston and currently resides in Acworth, Georgia.
