), the only company to provide a cost effective solution to broadcasters with adjacent channel problems with its Adjacent Channel Technology (ACT(tm)), is pleased to announce it has applied for five US Patents covering this and other technology used in its digital transmitters. The patent applications include conceptual and practical aspects of adjacent channel television transmitters, channel steering, signal correction and filter economy.

The Company's ACT development is assisting broadcasters in their switch to digital television (DTV (Digital TeleVision) Transmitting TV using digital signals. The major DTV standards are ATSC (North America), DVB (Europe) and ISDB (Japan). All three use MPEG-2 video compression and Dolby Digital audio compression. DVB and ISDB also include MPEG audio compression. ). With approximately 400 broadcasters assigned DTV channels, which are adjacent to their analog channels, ACT has the capability of passing adjacent digital and analog channels though a single high power amplifier Power amplifier
