Acrobat show's not one to miss; What: Le Grande Cirque Where: Forum Theatre, Billingham When: Until tomorrow.Byline: KAREN McLAUCHLAN WHEN a production describes itself as "one of the most exciting shows you will ever see" it's a big claim, but Le Grande Cirque certainly lives up to it. It has played to more than 10 million people around the world and features an international cast of 50 worldclass acrobats and performers from more than 15 countries, including China, Russia and Monaco. A truly magical show, it's not hard to see why it's often labelled the next generation of Cirque du Soleil Cirque du Soleil (French for "Circus of the Sun") is an entertainment empire based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and founded in Baie-Saint-Paul in 1984 by two former street performers, Guy Laliberté and Daniel Gauthier. . The opening scene was breathtaking - acrobats climbing poles at the speed of light, jumping from one to the other and then landing face first just inches away from hitting the floor.
