Acqusition of Coreco Receives Court Approval.

It consists of 144 judges who are appointed by the federal government following the recommendation of the Premier of Quebec.  to complete the acquisition by DALSA Corporation.The court approval was granted by the Honourable Jean Guilbault following a hearing this morning in Montreal, Quebec.

At a Special Meeting of Shareholders held on April 22, 2005, more than 99% of Coreco shareholders voted to approve the acquisition of all the outstanding common shares of Coreco by DALSA Corporation.

The acquisition is expected to close on or about April 26, 2005.
