Completed.TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 3, 1997--First International Groupe Financier Concorde Inc., the principal distributor of the Concorde Group of Mutual Funds (collectively, the "Funds"), announced today that the previously announced acquisition of 100 percent of GFC GFC Geelong Football Club (Australia) GFC GMD (Ground-Based Midcourse Defense) Fire Control GFC Georgia Forestry Commission GFC Generic Flow Control GFC Grace Fellowship Church GFC Gaelic Football Club by First International Asset Management Inc. ("First Asset") from Laurentian Trust of Canada Inc. ("Laurentian") has been completed. GFC is the principal distributor of the Funds and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Northwest Mutual Funds Inc. ("Northwest") is the manager and trustee of the Funds. The Funds consist of seven prospectus qualified mutual funds namely: Concorde International Fund, Concorde Dividend Fund, Concorde Balanced Fund Balanced Fund A mutual fund that invests its assets into the money market, bonds, preferred stock, and common stock with the intention to provide both growth and income.
