Perennial leader eEmpACT Software continued to shake up the staffing and recruiting software industry today with an announcement that it has acquired DataForce Systems. The acquisition, the company's second in just 12 months, will nearly double eEmpACT's customer base, from 530 to 970, making it the largest staffing and recruiting software company in the world.

The move, which comes at a time when other software companies of all kinds are struggling just to survive, follows closely on the heels of eEmpACT's announcement of eEmpACT EXPRESS, an innovative back-office accounting solution priced 50-75 percent below all other comparable systems. And it comes just one year after the company launched a revolutionary three-tiered "lowest-priced" structure - the entry-level version of which sells for only $199 per user - that effectively changed the industry's pricing paradigm by putting eEmpACT's top-rated software within the reach of every staffing and recruiting firm in the country.
