'Party Alerts' for LA, New York and Chicago

ACOTEL GROUP, the leading global provider of mobile multimedia platforms, applications and services and URBANWORLD WIRELESS, the leading wireless provider of urban entertainment news, lifestyle and mobile marketing solutions, today announced the launch of the first mobile content and information portal specifically geared to the urban market, catering to young, hip, mobile phone users.

Starting today, users can go to www.urbanworldwireless.com and download the latest ringtones, wallpapers and video games directly to their mobile phones from an intuitive web interface, powered by Acotel. Users can also download exclusive UrbanWorld 'True Tonez' from featured DJs and recording artists DJ Kid Capri, E-40 and Truth Hurts. Additional DJs, artists and comedians will be added regularly.

In addition to content, UrbanWorld Wireless users can subscribe to receive exclusive 'Party Alertz,' a premium SMS sent directly to their mobile phones, whenever an urban party or event is scheduled in the selected city. The next time an event is planned in the subscribed city, the user will receive an SMS with the date, time and location of the event as well as relevant promotions for the event. At launch, Party Alerts are available for Chicago (CHI), Los Angeles (LA) and New York (NYC) for AT&T Wireless, Verizon Wireless and Cingular subscribers. Additional cities and carriers will be added soon. As a premium SMS, subscribers will be charged $0.30 by their wireless carrier for each Party Alertz received.
